  ATV Safety

Course Description:
The ATV Operator course is a nationally recognized program developed by the Canada Safety Council (CSC) and certified by the Alberta Safety Council (ASC) for the benefit of both industrial and recreational ATV operators. Completion of this course has become mandatory in many major companies for employees and sub-contracted personnel who use ATVs on the jobsite.

The objectives of this course are:
This one-day program is designed to train the operator in the safe and efficient use of an all terrain vehicle. It includes both classroom and practical training, with the greatest emphasis on operational skills.

  • Pre-ride inspections
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Safe riding practices and strategies
  • Emergency and advoidence techniques
  • Loading and transporting ATVs
