The focus of the program is on maintaining an open airway, assisting breathing, controlling bleeding and preventing further injury until medical care is available. Successful candidates will receive a certificate recognized by Alberta Human Resources and Employment.

The program will give participants the ability to apply the general information to their specific work-site and specific conditions that they have to experience.
